New activity center by the fjord in Loen

This summer, Loen Active opened the doors to Loen Marina , a brand new activity center by the fjord in Loen. With kayaks, SUP boards and pedal boats for rent, it has become even easier for both visitors and locals to experience the Nordfjord from the sea.

Loen Marina is idyllically located on the marina just below Hotel Alexandra , and just a short walk from Loen Skylift and the center of Loen. The central location makes it easy to combine a trip on the fjord with other activities and experiences in Loen.

From the marina, guests can explore the fjord at their own pace. Rental options include single and double kayaks, sit-on-top kayaks for both children and adults, SUP boards, Mega SUP for groups, and pedal boats. Wetsuits and drysuits are also available for rental, allowing for activities on the fjord throughout much of the year.

Low threshold for experiencing the fjord

The goal of Loen Marina is to make the fjord more accessible to more people. You don't necessarily need to set aside a whole day or have a lot of experience to get out on the water. The offer is suitable for families, couples, groups of friends and individual travelers who want to add an active experience to their stay in Loen.

The new base also expands the activity offering of Loen Active, which already offers, among other things, Via Ferrata Loen , cycling , guided tours and a number of mountain activities.
