Entrepreneur of the year!
Today, Loen Skylift won this year's Founder's Award, and guess if we are proud and happy!
"Entrepreneur of the Year" is a collaboration between Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, Framtidsfylket, Sparebankstiftinga Sogn og Fjordane and Innovation Norway, and this year the prize was awarded for the sixth time. The jury consisted of Trond Teigene, CEO of Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, Kjetil Kvåle, day-to-day manager of the knowledge park and Reidun Aasen Nesheim, senior advisor at Innovation Norway. In addition to the jury's assessments, the public was invited to vote for the finalists. The other finalists were HydroWave, Sogn Aqua, Sødermann Rådgiving and Seaweed.
It was Eivind Grov who accepted the award on behalf of Loen Skylift today, and NRK spoke to him after the award ceremony. "Eivind Grov was the first to launch the idea of a gondola in Loen, 40 years ago, and he has been close to the process all the way, so it was especially nice that he could receive the award on behalf of the project.
We thank the jury and everyone who voted for us. This motivates the further development of Loen Skylift and the activities on Hoven!
