The tandem adventure on NRK
Last summer, ten participants with different functional challenges embarked on an exhilarating trip from Lindesnes to the North Cape on double tandem bikes.
The "Tandem Adventure" project started as an impossible idea, but ended up as a unique and inspiring journey.
Initiator and enthusiast Yoo Lene has led activity groups for people with disabilities for many years. In 2022, she and her training group embarked on an adventurous journey across the country. It's a volunteer project where the participants get the biggest, but also most demanding experience of their lives.
A fan of the group got in touch with us, wanting to give them a high-altitude mountain experience in addition to the road, so we sent the cheerful group to the mountains. Not everyone was so keen on high altitudes, but fortunately they all came along.
