On October 24, the popular artist Ingebjørg Bratland comes to Hoven and Loen Skylift. The concert starts at 21:00.
At the age of 27, the Vinje native already has a track record that most people would envy. Before her recording debut, she had an established name in the folk music community. She has been crowned Nordic champion, won the Norwegian folk music championship and has several victories in the Landskappleiken as a quedar. She also made her mark with her contribution to HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit's compilation album "Sorrow and Joy", as well as singing the title track of NRK's "Jul i Svingen" series. In connection with the memorial concert in Oslo Cathedral on July 30, 2011, she sang Nordahl Grieg's "To Youth". She is also known for her close collaboration with Odd Nordstoga.
Ingebjørg Bratland maintains a high level of activity and is keen not to lock herself into a defined genre. 2018 saw a focus on the hymn project "Til alle tider" together with Espen Lind. Two successful rounds of touring - 35 concerts, primarily in churches, which together were seen by around 15,000 visitors! In addition to releasing the whole thing on record and digitally.
2019 has also been used to write and record new music. This means that in the first half of 2020 she will carry out a new Norwegian tour and release new music. The first taste came on November 8. The song is called "Di Ingebjørg", followed by an album in February.
She is experiencing great interest in her music and is currently approaching 50 million streams on Spotify. The new material is written by herself and produced by Espen Lind and Geir Hvidtsten. Stylistically, the new material lies in the landscape between country, folk and pop.
