On November 12, we invite you to a Christmas party at Hoven - with Christmas food, beer and aquavit tasting. Morten Paulsen from Arcus/Anora and Thomas Hovlandsvåg from Kinn Bryggeri will guide us through the evening. The passion for good flavors is pervasive, and now this will be combined with Christmas food at Hoven. We also have non-alcoholic alternatives.

Three-course menu with drinks and avec. Price: 1190,- per person (+ tax).

Morten Thyregod Paulsen is a senior product developer at Arcus/Anora, and holds a PhD focusing on the interaction between food and drink. - "I'm passionate about Norwegian and Nordic food culture," says Paulsen. - "Aquavit is the natural accompaniment to traditional food and an important part of our cultural heritage. I'm proud to be able to work with products that are an important part of people's food traditions. At the same time, it's important to develop aquavit with the times. What new dishes does aquavit go well with? And how should a new aquavit taste to suit new needs?

Thomas Hovlandsvåg is the home brewer who joined Kinn Bryggeri in 2014. He holds various events and training sessions at restaurants and hospitality venues. Kinn Bryggeri makes English and Belgian-style craft beer based on water from Sagafjella. Old craft techniques such as opa fermentation and bottle maturation are important. None of the beers are pasteurized or filtered, and everything is produced at the two breweries in Florø.

The event starts at 19:00, and the last run down is at 00:30. The bar closes serving at midnight.

Good non-alcoholic alternatives are available.

Those who have a ticket to the event can buy a lane ticket at the ticket office for 300,- t/r (regular price 450,-). Those who have an annual pass can use this.
