In collaboration with Oktoberfest Stryn, we invite you to a pre-show concert with the legendary "Sangforeningen af Kongens Mænd".

Sangforeningen af Kongens Mænd was founded in the fall of 1993 at Toneheim Folk High School. After visiting several large cities in Norway and abroad, including Oslo, Trondheim, Hamar, Tromsø, Ålesund, Geneva (Switzerland) and Halmstad (Sweden), it is finally Stryn's turn!

The choir's repertoire ranges from traditional Norwegian male choir classics, gospel and beautiful church music to Beatles, pop and classical songs. Versatility and untraditional performances of well-known songs should guarantee high entertainment value. All the singers have a solid music-related background.

From the newspaper "Hemnesværingen" after the choir's performance at Hemnesjazz in 2016: "Hemnesberget has often been visited by a male choir, but never one as stately, thoroughly musical and hysterically funny as Sangforeningen af Kongens Mænd. Because what can you say, 14 men in their prime, dressed up in dresses and white, brought out both smiles and tears ... But as much as these guys know their classic male choir repertoire, they have also added songs no one thought possible to achieve as impressive choir numbers. There is hardly a funnier male choir."
