On May 13, there will be a great atmosphere on the mountain when Ulstein Accordion Club takes over the roof terrace.
Ulstein Accordion Club was established in 2009. The musical director is Linda Nygård. The members range in age from 10 to 75 years. As of today, the club has 14 permanent members; 10 on accordion and four on violin. In addition, they hire comps as needed. They also have two young talents from Ukraine joining this season. A good mix of experienced musicians and promising youngsters makes for a good musical environment in the club.
The club plays a variety of music from old-time dance to well-known entertainment music. Christmas concerts have also been a major part of the club's activities. Recruitment takes place in close collaboration with the cultural schools in the municipalities of Søre Sunnmøre.
Ulstein Accordion Club has on several occasions participated in district championships in Møre og Romsdal, and has won several first places in the old dance and entertainment music classes. The club has also been the organizer of district championships.
In case of rain, the concert will be held inside the restaurant.
