An unforgettable evening with Cecilie Skog
Cecilie Skog is one of the most high-profile adventurers in the world, and one of the few who has truly pushed the boundaries, both physically and mentally. On March 20th, she was at Hoven , where she shared her story.
On March 20th , we experienced a very special lecture at Hoven , when Cecilie Skog took us into her world, a world characterized by courage, willpower and adventure.
As the first woman in the world to have reached the highest mountains on all seven continents, and also stood at the North Pole, the South Pole and the summit of Mount Everest. Yet it was not only these impressive achievements that were the focus of this evening. It was about something more, about daring to follow your dreams, about standing firm in the unknown, and about finding strength within yourself when it really matters.
Through her talk "Cecilie's World," she took us on a visual and emotional journey through some of the most extreme landscapes on Earth. With warmth, humor, and a rare kind of honesty, she shared experiences that not only inspire, but also challenge us to see our own goals in a new light.
Cecilie Skog is more than an adventurer. With a background as a nurse, mountain guide and educator, and with experience from both books and TV productions, she meets the audience with a unique combination of professional weight and lived life. She reminds us that it is not always the biggest peaks that matter most, but the steps we take to get there.
The evening of Hoven sat as a reminder of precisely this: That our boundaries are often closer than we think and that the greatest adventure may be daring to go beyond them.
