Guided tours to Staurinibba in July

Join steady guides to the top of Staurinibba, with impressive views of the inner Nordfjord.

The hike starts in Loen, and you go together to the Loen Skylift station and travel to the top (1011 m above sea level) and start the mountain hike with fresh legs. The peak of Staurinibba is 1379 m above sea level. We walk on a well-maintained path the whole way. We round the north side of Tungegjølet - the steep and narrow lake that ends down in Loen. Here we come close to steep mountain sides, but can still travel safely along the marked path. The last half climbs steeper towards the top. The reward that awaits you is worth the effort; an impressive view of the inner Nordfjord.
