snowshoes is a great way to experience the winter landscape, and this is something everyone can do. Loen Active offers guided snowshoe tours at Hoven and to other locations in Loen. Here you can experience fantastic views of the fjord and mountains while hiking in a snowy landscape. There are many possible routes, and our experienced guides will adapt the tour to the weather and the level of the participants. After the hike, you can enjoy yourself in Hoven Restaurant - perhaps with a cup of hot chocolate and a good meal.

We meet at the Loen Active store where we check clothing and equipment, and walk together to the Loen Skylift. At the top, we'll be given snowshoes and poles before hiking out into the beautiful winter landscape.

The trip takes up to three hours, and we choose the route according to weather, snow conditions and the wishes of the group.

After being out in the snow, you can enjoy the view in Hoven Restaurant, where hot drinks are served, before we return to the lowlands with Loen Skylift.
