Norway's longest akebake
On Saturday 17 and 24 February, we invite you to a joint sledge ride from the top Hoven down to Oppheim! Imagine sitting down on the toboggan, and in front of you lie kilometer after kilometer of newly prepared toboggan run - "Norway's longest toboggan run". Subject to sufficient snow.
From the top off Hoven at 1,011 meters above sea level there is a seven kilometer long toboggan run. The whole trip we take approx. 1-1.5 hours and we take our time with a few stops along the way. The toboggan run ends at the car park at Holme/Oppheim. From there, transport by car/minibus will be arranged back to the fjord station to the Loen Skylift. The event is free for guests at Loen Skylift.
Attendance at the top of Hoven in the area by the horseshoe approx. at 14:15. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are mandatory. Bring your own sled, or rent a Loen Active (helmet included).
Arrive in good time if you are going to rent a toboggan or winter clothing. For rent on the 2nd floor of the mountain station at Hoven . The price also includes a helmet. Loen Active has 80 sledges for hire. Read more here .
