Madrugada's reunion tour three years ago was a triumph through fourteen European countries. Now the Norwegian rock legends are embarking on a new European tour, and Loen is next on May 21.

About Madrugada
On Madrugada's first European tour in 2019, the band experienced that the fans had grown significantly over the years, and in many places the concerts were sold out so quickly that larger arenas had to be booked. Madrugada had been both loved and missed, and it was a passionate and partly young audience that met the band on the road.
Central to the reunion tour was the band's debut album "Industrial Silence", which celebrated 20 years in 2019. This time, the audience will also be served new songs, since the band is working on new music.
Madrugada is an artistic and commercial success story. They have won five Spellemann Awards and two Alarmprizes and released five studio albums, a live album and a number of singles and EPs, which have sold gold and platinum. When Madrugada disbanded in 2008, after completing their self-titled final album by sheer force of will, it seemed like history was over. The reunion two years ago was an unexpected but gratifying new chapter. From the first note in the rehearsal room, it was clear that the musical magic was still there. Not long after the tour was over, the band decided to move on. "We just wanted the tour to continue!" Now the time has come for a new chapter in the Madrugada story. We can only look forward to the continuation!
Collection of tickets
Tickets must be exchanged in bands, and this can be done from Friday, May 20 in Fjordshop at Loen Skylift. They can buy a return ticket with Loen Skylift at a discounted price of NOK 390 per person. Please note that this must be purchased at the same time as the concert tickets. Those who have annual passes can of course use them.
Transport to the mountains
Loen Skylift runs at least every hour and a half from 10:00. The last run down is at 02:00. The lift runs non-stop during peak periods. From 16:00, the facility will be closed to other guests, and only those with a ticket for the concert will have access.
Food and drink
Hoven restaurant offers à la carte at 12:00-16:00. Remember to reserve a table if you want lunch. The restaurant is then reserved for guests who have booked a concert ticket incl. dinner at 18:00-20:30. For all other Madrugada fans, the food market is open from 18:00-22:30. Here they can buy assorted mountain food from the stalls. NB: It will only be possible to pay with coupons in the bars and food stalls that are outside. Coupons can be bought both down at the fjord station on arrival, and in the mountain station and in the Skyshop for the rest of the evening.
Ticket incl. dinner in Hoven Restaurant?
A three-course menu will be served between 18:00 and 20:30 to everyone who has purchased a ticket with dinner. If you or anyone in your party has food allergies, please send information about this to eva@alexandra.no before May 18.
Entertainment before and after the concert
DJ dropK plays outside on the terrace from 17:00, and Kevin Sullivan creates atmosphere in the tent from 18:00. They continue after Madrugada has left the stage.
Shuttle bus to Olden and Stryn
From midnight there will be shuttle buses from Loen to Olden and Stryn. Ticket price NOK 100 per person. Payment at boarding
Clothing
The concert is outside under the open sky, on the roof of Hoven Restaurant. We are betting on good spring-weather, however Remember that we are high up in the mountains, so adapt the clothing. There is standing room only on the roof.
Other information
There will be photography and filming in the area.
Purchased tickets are non-refundable. Program changes may occur. If the entire event is canceled, the ticket will be refunded, or the concert will be moved to a new date.
