snowshoes is a great way to experience the winter landscape, and on this day Loen Active will provide an instructor, loan of snowshoes and a guided tour at Hoven. The guided tour starts at 13:00. The program is free for all participants. Track tickets can be purchased in Fjordshop or at a vending machine.

Lending and tour will take place at the top station of Loen Skylift. We provide snowshoes and ski poles and a local guide. Due to the size of the snowshoes, you should be 12 years and older.

12-15 pm: All guests can borrow snowshoes and poles for 30 minutes. We cannot guarantee that we have enough equipment for everyone, but we will try as far as possible that everyone gets to try.

13:00: The guided tour will go where conditions allow, but we aim to go towards Skredfjellet and the area behind Rognehauge. The tour will last about 1-1.5 hours.

We make reservations about the weather, and the trip can be changed / canceled if we do not find it justifiable.

If you want to take part, you must bring your own equipment for being outside in winter: Good shoes (hiking boots/winter shoes), preferably gaiters, warm clothes, possibly a backpack with food/drink and a change of clothes. Those who want to bring their own snowshoes are of course very welcome.
