Welcome to a cozy space Christmas in the mountains. During Christmas, the Loen Skylift is open daily from Christmas Day until January 1. There will be live music several days, and then there will be a Romjul quiz! Play in the snow or go for a walk, and if the weather permits, there will be sledding. Fjellbutikken rents out sleds and snowshoes . Hoven Restaurant offers log fire, good food and live music.

Music with Aleks Grey
Every day between December 28 and New Year's Eve, Aleks Grey (Aleksander Raftevold) will create a warm Christmas atmosphere in Hoven Restaurant. Originally from Nordfjordeid, Aleksander is a songwriter, producer and artist. As a solo artist, under the name Aleks Grey, he has toured Norway, England and Germany. His music is streamed all over the world and he has been featured on NRK P1, NRK P3, BBC Radio and German radio. He has also composed music for several TV series.
3rd Christmas Day: Kahoot Room Christmas Quiz
The quiz starts at 7pm and all you need to do is bring your smartphone. If you haven't tried Kahoot before, it's very easy to learn. Participate alone or in teams with good friends (max four per team/table). The winner of the evening will receive a nice prize, and there will also be consolation prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. Participation is free. After the quiz there will be a party atmosphere with HIT Station. Read more about the quiz.
Boxing Day: Hit Station
This evening there will be a party atmosphere at Hit Station in Hoven Restaurant. They start playing at 9:30 PM, and play until 12:30 AM. Find out more.

Take young and old to the mountains this day, and join in something fun for the whole family! The quiz starts at 15:15, and all you need is to bring your smartphone. Great prizes and free entry! Find out more
Hoven Restaurant & Bar
Hoven Restaurant serves from Christmas Day to January 1. The menu consists of both Christmas food and other temptations. See the menu here. , and Remember to book a table ! Skyshop will also be open serving cinnamon rolls, coffee and other refreshments.
Adventurous December
Weather permitting, we will build hiking trails to Skredfjellet and make a toboggan run . Follow our Live page for updated information. There are good conditions for snowshoeing , so bring good shoes and good clothes. Loen Active Fjellbutikk rents out snowshoes and spells. You can even rent a winter suit and ski goggles .
Loen Active Mountain Shop will be open every day from Wednesday 27 to Sunday 31 December 10-16.
Remember the annual pass campaign
Enjoy the mountains all year round, from short and long hikes, Via Ferrata, sledging, ski touring and snowshoeing, to events and live music. The campaign runs until December 31, 2024. Residents of Stryn municipality get an extra nice discount, regardless of the campaign period. Find out more.
