1,000 flights from Hoven - in just five months!

On Sunday, Truls Holmen had his 1,000th flight with a speed glider from Hoven in Loen.

1,000 flights is impressive in itself. What makes it even more spectacular is that the trips from Hoven were made over the course of five months, from the end of May to the end of October. This is an average of 200 flights per month.

Truls Holmen is an experienced air sports athlete from Hokksund, but lives in Krogstadelva near Drammen.

His daily record in Loen is 31 trips in one day and 140 trips in one week. Holmen achieved this in September.
