The new and spectacular Loen Skylift gives you Norway's easiest summit ride - in winter at Hoven, 1011 meters above sea level. This is where adventure awaits you - on a toboggan down Norway's longest toboggan run, on foot on groomed trails, on snowshoes or on skiing. Winter adventures

In winter, you can go hiking, snowshoeing or tobogganing toboggan in Norway's longest toboggan run. The summit tour enthusiasts save 1,000 vertical meters and can start in the mountains with fresh legs. Go hiking on groomed hiking trailsand in late winter we make cross-country skiing tracks if the conditions are right.

Food and drink

Gourmet food is cooked 1011 meters above the fjord, right next to Jostedalsbreen. In a restaurant straight out of a James Bond movie - right on the edge of the cliff facing the fjord. The ingredients are mostly local, as are the drinks: apple juice from the village at the foot of the mountain, 5,000-year-old water from the mighty Jostedalsbreen glacier and Odin's own beer. If you're a guest at Hotel Alexandra, you can enjoy the famous buffet or the evening's three-course menu.
